The Long Island Bluegrass Festival
August 17, 2013, Tanner Park, Copiague

2012 marked the 10th anniversary of the annual Long Island Bluegrass Festival. The festival brings together local and touring acts in a day-long celebration of all things Bluegrass.

The main stage has music throughout the day, culminating with the headlining act in the evening. Tents are set up around the grounds of the park featuring workshops and chances for festival-goers to play with each other to hone their skills.

With children's activities, food and craft vendors, and music-related booths adding to the day's interest, there's something for everyone!
Paumanauke Pow Wow​​​​​
August 3 and 4, 2013, Babylon Town Hall, Lindenhurst
2013 marks the 33rd year of the Paumanauke Pow Wow. This year's pow wow takes place on August 3rd and 4th at Babylon Town Hall on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst.

The pow wow is a non-profit organization operating for the benefit and preservation of Native American cultural heritage on Long Island.

The festival offers the public an opportunity to be immersed in Native American culture, sample Native food, costumes, arts, crafts, song and dance. A major portion of the proceeds provide Native American Scholarship awards.
Harvest Moon Gala
TBA, Chateau la Mer, Lindenhurst

The annual Harvest Moon Gala is held at the end of October each year to showcase BACCA programs and present awards.

Each year the board of the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts chooses to honor an outstanding person in our community who has shown a deep commitment to the arts in the Town of Babylon with the Senator Owen H. Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award.
Teen Theatre Awards
May 17, 2013, North Babylon High School, North Babylon
Each year BACCA awards students in the Town of Babylon for outstanding performances in their high school theatre productions​.

The awards ceremony is open to the public and admission is free.
